VALINOR high effective vortex inhibitor is a specialized pipe fitting used to prevent initiation of vortices within fire suction tank and air entrap into suction pipe. The VALINOR vortex inhibitor is fitted with the port of suction pump pipe inlet to reduce vortices inside tank and ensure the suction pump working at its maximum efficiency, greatly minimizing the air entrapment to cause cavitation. This allows the maximum possible draw down of the liquid’s surface level and ensures the largest flow rate transmission. The product design and manufacture is strictly complying with BS EN 12845, and its performance is conforming to Technical code for fire protection water supply and hydrant systems GB 50974-2014
VALINOR vortex inhibitor is widely used to chemical engineering, energy resource, and hydraulic engineering, especially employed in fire suction tanks. This allows full usage of net capacity, improving availability of fire tanks and reducing dead water area, to provide energy savings.
